Grau de satisfação de usuários com diferentes faixas etárias da Biblioteca-escola Senac Dom Ulrico, na cidade de João Pessoa/PB

Abstract

The library is an important area of preservation and dissemination of knowledge, having users from different age groups and social classes, however, it is not clear if the perception of the library is diferent between children-teenagers and adults. Thus, the purpose of this paper was to compare the level of satisfaction among childrenteenagers and adults users of School Library Senac Don Ulrico in the city of Joao Pessoa-PB. The participants were 53 members selected
randomly, stratified by age, being 26 children-teenagers aged 11-17 years and 27 adults aged from 18-48 years old. A questionnaire has been applied in order to assess the level of satisfaction of library users. Based on the results, it is concluded that users of both groups are satisfied with the library in a general way, as well as in relation to infrastructure, collections, services and hours of operation.
